Co-Parenting Handover Book: child-centred communication book

About

This book was developed and designed to help separated/divorced/ broken up parents, to communicate in the interest of their children.
The book was developed over time by Deirdre who worked as a Child Protection Social Worker in Ireland, and now works through the courts, to ascertain the voice of the child, during custody and access disputes.

Having a child centered communication book mean that both parents communicate effectively with each other without coming in contact with one another during pick up and drop off. The handover book sets out a contract and explains how the book should be used , with the best interest of the child in mind.

The handover book contains all the vital information about the child such as allergies, important numbers and any important dates. There is a section for parents to communicate directly with each other.
